The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Memphis presents BORN OF THE SPIRIT, a Life in the Spirit Seminar.  The seminar is conducted in five 90-minute sessions in which the participants experience a deeper knowledge (heart knowledge) of God and His Kingdom, the Church, culminating in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Each session includes Praise & Worship, a teaching, sharing, and prayer.  The sessions are given either in five evenings over a five-week period, or in five sessions over a Friday and Saturday weekend.  

This seminar is designed as an aid for introducing Catholics to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and to foster their growth in Catholic charismatic spirituality.  While emphasizing the experiential nature of the Baptism of the Spirit, the seminar also seeks to provide solid teaching on our relationship with God...attempting to situate the charismatic experiences within the framework of traditional Catholic Sacraments and Spirituality.
